VIP Rumor Player is a tool for the new generation. You just listen to what you want to hear, while having innovative features. The player is based on an embedded SQL database engine. For the non technical users, that means speed.
Pros: VIP Rumor Player is positioned as a tool for the new generation in that it seems to learn the listener’s preferences and is able to adjust the Playlist accordingly. After play-lists have been worked on by the application a few time, it tries to play according to preference trends detected by it. Details of preferences are collected in an embedded database SQLlite. Without being too technical that should mean speed for listeners who could not care less. For the non technical users, that means speed. Dynamic play-lists allow fully automatic, randomized playback of songs based on your observed listening habits. Options like 50 last played, 50 most recent tracks, 10 most played, favorite artist, favorite album. The application keeps collecting data of played tracks to update information required to update the play-lists. The more you listen, the smarter it gets. It also features browsable, user re-orderable play-lists.
The application supports a range of removable storage devices. These are any flash memory, thumb drive, or portable mp3 player that acts as a hard disk when you plug it in. Thus makes transferring audio between home and work very easy. Listening to internet radio stations and audio are two other major features. As far as online radio goes, one just has to add the radio station to be able to listen to it anytime thereafter. The CD ripping feature that is present in the VIP Rumor Player like what is available in any other player, Lets you listen to it the tracks without having to have the original CD available. MP3 versions being available in the library after ripping has been completed.Overall: A good player with quite nice auto update of preferences. That proves to be quite convenient, easy to use still. This one is good for 4 stars without a doubt.
